2 - You must build relationships: you do this with your list and other marketers, primarily. If your subscribers know you, you will be able to get more out of them. They will tell you what they want, need and desire and then you can fulfill these for them. You will need good relationships with other marketers to do joint venture projects.
3 - You must build a sales funnel: in other words, you need to monetize your web-sites and online activity. You can add AdSense code to your blog. You can add re-directs for affiliate promotions. But, most importantly, you can send good offers to your list. Things they want and need. If they know you, they are more likely to buy from you.
4 - You must build a traffic generation machine: this is where things can get complicated and confusing. But, this is the most vital step of all. You simply must get traffic to your site. The best way is article marketing or variations on that, as most traffic generation involves some kind of writing. Also, article marketing provides very targeted and long-term traffic. To get an idea how a site will convert, you could use Google AdWords or video marketing, to begin with.
5 - You must build your own products: this sounds a bit daunting, until you try it. Its not hard to create PDF reports, audio MP3s or videos. Any of those could give you a great product. All would give you a complete ’suite’ of products.
So, get building and you will see success, sooner rather than later.
